Florida Review at UCF

Celebrating 40 Years

Welcome to The Florida Review, the literary journal published twice yearly by the University of Central Florida. Our artistic mission is to publish the best poetry and prose written by the world's most exciting emerging and established writers. Our thanks to all those who have submitted, subscribed, donated, read and supported TFR.

The Florida Review responds to the Pulse shooting

We often have to explain to people—because of our name—that The Florida Review is not a Florida-themed or Florida-authors-only publication. Now, in the days following the terrible events at the Pulse nightclub, in which 49 people were killed and 53 others injured, we feel we must explain that We Are Orlando. We stand with our LGBTQ+ and Latino/a communities, to which our creative community has many ties. In light of that, we are planning a special, curated Pulse section from inside Orlando for our Fall 2016 (40.2) issue.
